About the role

Role: Mental Health Support Worker

Pay:£13.97 to £16.69 per hour

Shifts:Days 09:00-15:00 - Thursday and Friday

You will support children or adults experiencing mental health challenges, helping them live with dignity and independence. This role requires experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour and mental health needs. It is a chance to make a real difference.

Due to a genuine occupational requirement, male only applicants will be considered for this role. You should be experienced in supporting those displaying challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

Your work will include clinical and social care tailored to each person’s needs:

• Personal care and support. Assisting with daily tasks to ensure comfort and wellbeing
  
• Challenging behaviour support. Responding with empathy and professionalism
  
• Crisis intervention. Providing support during difficult moments
  
• Promoting independence. Building confidence and life skills
  
• Medication support. Ensuring safe and timely administration
  
• Specialist clinical care. Supporting complex needs with compassion and skill

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• At least 6 months of professional care experience, or experience caring for a loved one in the UK
  
• Confidence supporting people with limited mobility
  
• The right to work in the UK
  
• A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
