About the role

Newcross Healthcare is recruiting a Community Paediatric Care Assistant in Cowes to support children and young people in their own homes.

Care is delivered on a 2:1 basis in this care package.

Your responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support.
• Support children with their care needs.
• Support safe community access and promote independence.
• Ensure safety and follow detailed care plans accurately.

What you need

• At least six months of paid UK care experience.
• Previous experience supporting children or young people.
• Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility.
• A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Good spoken and written English.
