Key requirements for the role are as follows:

  • Candidates must have prior experience working with children in complex or high-needs settings

  • This is a full-time position, with staff expected to commit to ongoing full-time hours

  • All successful applicants must complete a mandatory 4-day PRICE training course before starting on the unit

  • The young people display high risk behaviour, there is potential for physical intervention

  • The role will predominantly involve day shifts (7.00-15.15/14.00-22.00)

  • Vigilant documentation writing, regular observations required, clear report/incident writing

  • Support routines, education and emotional well-being

  • Will work as part of a well trained long standing team
