About the role

Newcross Healthcare is recruiting experienced Care Assistants in Kilmarnock to provide high quality care in care homes and local community settings.

You will support people with daily living, promote independence and help them live safely and comfortably.

Your responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
  
  

• Monitoring and recording vital signs
  
  

• Supporting patients with mobility and safe movement
  
  

• Assisting with meals and ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration
  
  

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
  
  

• Working closely with nurses and healthcare professionals
  
  

• Observing and reporting any changes in patient condition
  
  

What you need

• Right to Work In the UK
  
  

• Experience– 6+ months of paid UK care experience within the past 3 years.
  
  

• Registration – If applying in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland, you’ll need the relevant SSSC, SCW, or NISCC registration (not required in England).
  
  

• Qualities– A compassionate nature, professionalism, and teamwork skills.
  
  

• Skills– Ability to support clients with personal care, mobility, and daily activities.
