What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll be providing vital support to service users in Care homes. Your responsibilities may include:
Provide high‑quality, person‑centred care while supporting the wider clinical team
You will carry out a range of clinical tasks in
line with your training and competency, including taking observations,
supporting wound care, collecting specimens, assisting with catheter and stoma
care, and contributing to ongoing monitoring of patients’ physical and
emotional wellbeing
Work closely with registered nurses and
other healthcare professionals to implement care plans, contribute to safe
patient flow, and maintain accurate documentation.
The role includes
supervising and supporting junior healthcare assistants, helping with their
induction, and promoting high standards of practice across the team.
Maintaining a safe
and clean clinical environment, following infection‑prevention procedures,
reporting concerns promptly, and ensuring equipment and supplies are well
managed

Minimum Requirements:
Right to work in the UK.
A minimum 6 months of paid UK care experience within the last 3 years, working in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role.
Proven experience managing a shift in a care home setting (Required)
SVQ LEVEL 3 Qualification with proven experience in medication administration
Registration: Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC (not applicable in England).
Skills: Knowledge of care equipment and moving & handling.
Qualities: Compassion, teamwork, flexibility, and a professional approach.
