What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll be providing vital support to service users in care homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting patients with personal care and daily living activities.
  
  

• Carrying out clinical tasks within your competency and monitor patient vital signs.
  
  

• Provide immediate, confident leadership and guidance to junior care staff on shift.

• Ensuring accurate patient documentation and detailed shift handovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK.
  
  

• A minimum 6 months of paid UK care experience within the last 3 years
  
  

• Proven experience working as a Senior HCA or an experienced HCA ready to step up.
  
  

• NVQ LEVEL 3 Qualification (or equivalent experience)
  
  

• Registration: Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC (not applicable in England).
  
  

• Skills: Knowledge of care equipment and moving & handling.
  
  

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to hit the ground running.
  
  

• Reliability, adaptability and a passion for high-standard patient care.
