Job Title: Nursing and Compliance Manager (Community Care)
Reporting to: Director of Operations – Community Care
Location: Remote based – however the role may involve travel to client
homes or other community locations.
Salary: £50,000 + up to £4,000 bonus + car allowance (£4,800pa)
Contract type: Permanent, Full time, Core working hours are 9:30am – 5:30pm
Please note:This position requires on-call escalation support to our nursing team, working evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed to ensure adequate coverage and support for nursing staff and clients.

As Nursing & Compliance Manager, you will take ownership of the coordination, supervision, and quality assurance of nursing services for individuals with complex medical needs. You thrive on leading and developing nursing teams, driving clinical audits, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals.

What will you do?
Whilst a full job description can be supplied here are a few of the key responsibilities for the role:
· Provide senior clinical leadershipacross a diverse team of Clinical Lead Nurses, ensuring complex client packages are delivered safely, effectively, and to the highest clinical standards.
· Champion outstanding care delivery, overseeing care planning, risk assessment, documentation, and communication to ensure continuity, safety, and positive outcomes for clients.
· Be the expert clinical support, guiding nursing teams through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, including managing clinical emergencies, complexities, and reflective debriefs.
· Drive quality and improvement, working closely with the Director of Operations and Regional Managers to lead audits, compliance activity, and service improvement plans that exceed regulatory expectations.
· Safeguard with confidence,identifying and managing safeguarding concerns, attending Stay Safe Panel meetings, and embedding defensible, gold-standard practice across services.
· Enable safe and timely growth, contributing to referrals meetings with a solution-focused approach, supporting positive risk-taking and ensuring new packages are mobilised safely within agreed timescales.
· Build and inspire high-performing teams, recruiting, supervising, and developing nursing staff across multiple disciplines and locations, with clear OKRs, PDOs, and regular performance reviews.
· Create a culture where people thrive, fostering engagement, learning, and professional development while managing HR processes and investigations with fairness and integrity.
· Collaborate and influence widely, acting as a key liaison between nursing teams, internal departments, and external professionals to ensure seamless, client-centred care.
· Promote excellence and innovation,contributing to training programmes, systems evaluation, equipment oversight, and sharing best practice and success stories to support organisational growth and reputation.
What we’ll be looking for: (skills, experience + qualifications):
- A strong clinical foundation, holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (with a Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field highly desirable).
- A current, unrestricted RN registration, enabling you to practice with confidence and credibility.
- Extensive hands-on experience, bringing at least 8 years in nursing, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership or management role.
- Proven expertise in complex care, with the clinical insight and judgement to support patients with highly complex medical needs in dynamic settings.
- An inspiring leader and communicator, able to engage, influence, and develop teams while building strong professional relationships.
- Calm, organised, and adaptable, with the ability to manage resources, balance competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
