Job Title:              Regional Manager (Wales)

Reporting to:       Director of Operations – Community Care

Location:              Hybrid – Wales (with the expectation of occasional travel if

                              required)

Salary:                 £42,000 pa + up to £10,000 bonus pa + £4,800pa car allowance

Contract type:       Full time, Permanent

Working Pattern:  Core working hours are 9:30am – 5:30pm (some flexibility to

                              meet business needs may be required as will participating in the

                              regional on-call rota)

Who are you? 

As a Regional Registered Manager at Newcross Healthcare, you will play a vital role in shaping the safety, experience, and outcomes of our clients while driving excellence across regional services and teams. You will be able to lead with purpose, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and workforce efficiency, while inspiring and developing those around you. 

You will be accountable for delivering a tailored growth strategy, achieving budgeted hours, and optimising care packages to support sustainable revenue and operational success. Innovation and curiosity are central to your role, using digital tools and new ways of working to improve efficiency and unlock smarter solutions. 

Through your oversight, all regulatory and internal audits are completed with care and diligence, ensuring your region consistently meets Newcross’s standards of quality and compliance. 

What will you do? 

Whilst a full job description can be supplied here are a few of the key responsibilities for the role:                                            

  • Drive Regional Growth:Shape and deliver a regional growth strategy, mobilise new opportunities quickly, and maintain the right mix of care packages to achieve both revenue and client impact.
  • Champion Operational Excellence:Keep systems and data accurate and up-to-date, using insights to track progress, improve performance, and make smarter decisions for your team and clients.
  • Inspire & Lead Your Team:Lead by example as a Newcross Brand Ambassador, building a high-performing, motivated team through coaching, recognition, and a culture of positivity.
  • Build Strong Relationships:Develop trusted partnerships with clients, commissioners, regulators, and colleagues, ensuring enquiries and concerns are handled professionally and compassionately.
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance:Maintain the highest standards of care, safety, and governance, overseeing audits, safeguarding, and clinical compliance across the region.
  • Optimise Resources & Performance:Manage budgets, workforce, and service delivery efficiently, ensuring the right resources are in place to meet client needs and drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead Innovation & Digital Adoption:Embrace digital tools and AI to streamline processes, reduce admin, and enhance quality, while supporting your team to adopt new ways of working.
  • Promote Learning & Resilience:Encourage continuous improvement, share insights to strengthen services, and respond to crises or emergencies with confidence, including participating in the regional on-call rota.
What we’ll be looking for:  
  • Significant experience in health and social care management or senior leadership, with up-to-date knowledge of national standards and regulations (CQC, Care Inspectorate Wales).
  • Proven leadership skills, able to manage and develop teams, lead through change, and influence others to achieve high performance.
  • Confident and competent in digital tools, AI, IT systems, and Microsoft Office, using data and technology to drive results.
  • Resilient, emotionally intelligent, and solutions-focused, able to maintain performance under pressure and manage welfare concerns or complaints to resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills, with a focus on quality, attention to detail, and professional standards.
  • Future-focused and proactive, linking objectives to daily operations, continuously improving personal and team performance.
  • Full driving licence and ability to travel as required.
