Job Title: Central Support Manager
Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
Location: UK / Hybrid (must be able to do 2 days in nearest Newcross office)
Salary:£40,000 + Bonus
Newcross Healthcare is looking for a Central
Support Manager to take the reins of our overnight and weekend operations,
ensuring our staffing network runs like clockwork—no matter the hour!
As Central Support
Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our out-of-hours service, leading a
talented team to deliver exceptional support during evenings, nights, weekends,
and bank holidays. You’ll oversee workforce coordination, booking fulfilment,
client support, and escalation management—keeping everything running smoothly
when most others are off the clock.
You’ll be the
decision-maker in high-pressure situations, the coach who motivates your team,
and the strategist who ensures operational excellence. Every choice you make
directly impacts client satisfaction, workforce performance, and our overall
out-of-hours success.
What you’ll do:
Lead and inspire our overnight and weekend Central Support team
Oversee urgent staffing requests, service escalations, and operational challenges
Maintain professional, responsive client communications at all times
Drive operational improvements, process innovation, and workforce efficiency
Monitor KPIs including shift fill rates, client satisfaction, and team performance
Support workforce engagement, onboarding, and compliance
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in operational leadership, workforce management, or healthcare coordination
Strong leadership, coaching, and decision-making skills under pressure
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Experience with workforce systems, scheduling platforms, and operational reporting
Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
Healthcare staffing or healthcare operations experience is a big plus!
