Who are you?
Newcross Healthcare is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Regional Director to lead our South East region.
This senior leadership role is responsible for
driving operational excellence, strategic growth, workforce optimisation, and
exceptional client service across a multi-site healthcare staffing operation.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team,
you will translate business strategy into regional action plans, lead
high-performing teams, and ensure the delivery of outstanding outcomes for
clients, healthcare professionals, and the wider business.
What will you do?
Leadership & Performance
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Managers and Regional Sales Managers.
Create a high-performance culture focused on accountability, service quality, and continuous improvement.
Drive regional performance against operational, commercial, and strategic objectives.
Monitor KPIs and implement effective actions to maximise performance and growth.
Operational Excellence
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality healthcare staffing solutions across the region.
Drive service improvements, workforce productivity, and operational efficiency.
Work collaboratively with central teams to optimise workforce deployment, coverage, and service delivery.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, governance, and company standards.
Strategic Growth
Deliver regional growth plans aligned to company strategy.
Identify opportunities to strengthen market position, increase performance, and support business expansion.
Lead the successful implementation of transformation projects, new systems, and operational initiatives.
Workforce & Client Success
Partner with Recruitment, Clinical Governance, and Operations teams to ensure workforce readiness and effective resource planning.
Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, acting as a senior escalation point when required.
Support business development activities and contribute regional insight to drive commercial success.
Data & Continuous Improvement
Use performance data and operational insight to inform decision-making and drive results.
Monitor industry trends, risks, and opportunities.
Champion innovation, best practice, and continuous improvement across the region.
What we’ll be looking for: (skills, experience + qualifications):
You
will be an accomplished operational leader with experience managing large,
geographically dispersed teams within healthcare, staffing, or a similar
ervice-led environment.
You'll bring:
Proven success in regional leadership and multi-site operational management.
Strong experience developing high-performing teams and future leaders.
Excellent
understanding of workforce planning, service delivery, and healthcare
compliance.
Commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, quality, and profitability.
Experience leading change, transformation, and business improvement initiatives.
Outstanding stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach.
Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
