Shift Pattern
Week 1 - Monday - 08:30 - 16:00 | Tuesday - 16:00 - 22:00 | Friday - 16:00 - 22:00
Week 2 - Friday 08:30 - 16:00 (Would also need to be flexible with this one if changes
This role will have fixed shifts and you will be required to be part of a rolling rota across Monday's, Tuesday's and Friday's. You will also need to have flexibility to do ad-hoc night shifts 21:00 - 08:00 for when NOK is away.
About the role
Due to the location of our client's home, you should be a driver and have reliable access to a vehicle as public transport is unlikely to be suitable.
This is a long term, consistent placement supporting one client in their own home and within the community. For this specific role, we are unable to accept applicants who are on a sponsorship as applicant will need to be able to commit to working all shifts above. You must have experience with Airway Management, Tracheostomy, Ventilation and PEG.
As a Community Care Worker, you will provide life-enhancing, person-centred care to people within their own homes in Stamford. Your compassion and dedication will help people live safely, with dignity and independence in their own homes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Provide high-quality, person-centred care with empathy and respect
Support
with advanced clinical needs including PEG, tracheostomy, NIV, oral
uction, bowel care, pulse oximetry, medication administration (including
rectal), pressure area care, and buccal midazolam
Engage
with AC’s interests, including food planning, sports, and technology
(Apple devices)
Promote autonomy and involve AC in all aspects of care and decision-making
Ensure continuity and consistency in care delivery
What we’re looking for:
At least 6 months of paid professional care experience (or personal care experience in the UK)
Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility
A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
The right to work in the UK
Experience with complex care (preferred but not essential, full training provided)
Registration: Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration (e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC). Not applicable in England
Ability to understand both verbal and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively
Qualities: Empathy, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork and the ability to deliver exceptional care
