We've streamlined our recruitment process and you could be working your first shift just five days after submitting your application form, enabling us to better support our clients. This process is entirely virtual, so you can complete it from the comfort of your own home, and we’ll support you every step of the way.
Online application form
Our recruitment and onboarding process starts with a simple online application form. This form is quick and secure. We ask for your contact details, previous work experience, and contacts for references.
Following this, we’ll ask you for additional details; such as your clothes size for your uniform and a photo for your ID badge.
We then review your application and make a judgement on your suitability for the role based on your past experience, qualifications, and your desire to care for service users. For nurses, we will confirm that you have a valid PIN. At this point, if we require further information, our Central Recruitment team will contact you.
References and checks
If the screening stage is successful, we will immediately contact your references to allow for our fast-tracked recruitment process. It would be beneficial if you could let them know that we will be in touch to ensure that they’re available. We also carry out full DBS/PVG checks at this stage to ensure that you are able to work in a care setting.
Pending successful referencing and checks, the next stage involves a virtual Welcome Meeting with a member of our recruitment team using a camera on a smart device. Our interview process is your opportunity to tell us all about your care experience, your skills and qualifications, and what your future goals are. Our recruitment teams are very friendly and the meeting will be more of an informal chat.
In the interview, we will assess your aptitude for the job whilst also seeing if you can tell us about scenarios in which you have demonstrated our core values:
We will also ask you to show us your ID documents. Don't worry - all of the requirements will be shared with you in advance of the meeting so you know what you need. If your interview goes well, you'll receive a verbal job offer.
Thanks to our investment in the digitalisation of our new starter training and induction materials, you can complete your introductory training from home through our online learning platform.
If you do not have a valid Moving and Handling certificate, you’ll need to complete those modules online before you start work.
