Are you a dedicated and compassionate RMN looking to make a difference in the community? 

We are seeking a qualified Community Care Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic team. Our mission is to provide flexible, person-centered care and support to individuals with complex needs, allowing them to be cared for in the comfort of their own homes. 

Job Title:              Community Care Registered Mental Health Nurse 

Reporting to:        Community Care Nurse Manager 

Location:              Remote/Hybrid -working between home and community visits, ideally located around Newcastle upon Tyne and Sunderland (some travel to a wider geographical area required) 

You will be able to plan your own diary with regards to visiting clients; expectation to visit clients approx. every few months. 

Hours:                   Full time – 37.5 hours per week 

Salary:                  £42,500 pa 

Other Benefits      Bonus up to £3,000 pa + Car Allowance £320pm (+ Mileage)

Who are you?

 

You are a passionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) looking for a role where you can truly impact lives as well as being part of a dedicated national team providing expert care in the community.If you're driven to support individuals with complex mental health needs in the comfort of their own homes, we want to hear from you! 

 

What will you do?

  • Be the face of expert care– supporting service users, families, and carers to ensure compassionate, high-quality services.
  • Lead from the front– devising and implementing care plans, risk assessments, and essential care documentation with a person-centred approach.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Manager– reviewing and assessing referrals, debriefing service users and carers after critical incidents.
  • Maintain high standards of care– acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring full competency sign-off.
  • Support & empower your teamProvide leadership, supervision, and direction to Community Care Leads and Healthcare Workers.
  • Drive continuous improvement– working alongside the Community Care Nurse Manager to enhance community care services.
  • Be solution-driven– managing crisis situations and ensuring responsive, effective care.
  • Take ownership– conducting clinical investigations and offering guidance out of hours via on-call support(approx. one week in ten).
