Reporting to:        Director of Technical Transformation / CTO 

Location:              Hybrid – 2 days per week in our London or Bristol office

Who are you: 

This isn’t just another engineering role. You’ll be the technical right hand to our CTO, spearheading transformative projects, setting engineering standards, and driving the adoption of AI-powered development tools like Replit, Claude AI, and Github Copilot.

What You’ll Do: 

• Lead with vision: Define and champion engineering best practices, from AI-driven workflows to modern architecture decisions. 
  
• Be a change-maker: Act as the CTO’s technical delegate on high-impact transformation projects. 
  
• Deliver innovation: Oversee full-stack solutions with a keen eye on scalability, security, and exceptional user experiences. 
  
• Shape the culture: Mentor senior engineers, lead workshops, and build a collaborative, forward-thinking engineering community. 
  
• Drive collaboration: Partner with product, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver powerful, integrated solutions. 
  
• Influence strategy: Represent engineering at the highest level, bridging the gap between technology and business vision. 
  

What We’re Looking For: 

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex, cross-functional projects.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Replit, Claude AI, Copilot – or similar).
  
  
• Expertise in software architecture, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices.
  
  
• Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex ideas for all audiences.
  
  
•  A natural mentor who’s passionate about nurturing engineering talent and driving technical excellence.
