How does live-in care work?

Upon receiving your referral or enquiry, our team will be in touch to discuss a personalised quote and schedule an assessment date

Matching process
Our matching process enables us to find the perfect live-in carer for your needs. A face-to-face assessment follows, where our Community Care Lead will discuss your requirements and the ways in which we can support with these. During this meeting, we’ll share some staff profiles with you to ensure a compatible match.
Quote finalisation
On the same day as your assessment, you’ll receive a finalised quote for our services carefully tailored to suit you.
Decision and contract
Within 24 hours of the face-to-face assessment, we’ll contact you to discuss your decision. If you choose to proceed, we’ll send you a contract for your review and signature.
Care planning and assessments
Once you contract has been signed, we’ll start planning your live-in care, conducting necessary risk assessments to ensure comprehensive support.
Virtual meet and greet
Before the agreed start date, we’ll arrange for you to meet your matched caregiver virtually so that you can get acquainted.
Commencement of care
On the first day that the carer is going to be joining you, the Care Associate will visit your home to ensure a smooth settling in process
Ongoing support
On day 3, you’ll receive a call from Newcross to discuss your experience so far and address any immediate concerns. On day 7, we’ll schedule a face-to-face meeting to assess youra ongoing satisfaction. Going forwards, monthly face-to-face meetings will be arranged to ensure continuous quality care.
